Shining Tails ("we", "us", "our") provides dog walking, play time, day care and related pet-care services in the Bondi Beach region, Byron Bay and the Gold Coast, Australia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share your personal information when you visit our websites, submit an enquiry form, or use our services.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry or booking form, we collect the details you provide, such as:

• Your name and mobile phone number;
• The service you are interested in and your area/suburb;
• The number of dogs and any details you choose to share about them;
• Any information you send us by email, SMS, phone or social media.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our pages, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and the campaign or advertisement that brought you to the page (for example, UTM parameters), using cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry — usually by SMS or phone call, which is our main contact channel;
• To provide, confirm, personalise and manage our services, including creating your dog's care profile;
• To send you service-related updates (for example, photos and updates from walks);
• To measure and improve our websites and our advertising campaigns;

We only use your details for the purpose you provided them. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing lists.

We will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

8. Children

Our services and websites are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-party links

Our pages may link to third-party websites and social media (such as Instagram). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
